Harvest Magazine/Harvest Publishing Group (2019)
“Harvest” magazine (豐年) is a chinese-language magazine published by the Harvest Publishing Group (豐年社) in Taiwan. First published in 1951, “Harvest” is the longest running taiwanese journal on agriculture, rural affairs, farm community development, contemporary agriculture technology, and related topics. It is well received by farmers and farm communities in Taiwan for over sixty years.
The foundation of the Harvest organization dates back to 1949, initiated by Mr. Robert B. Sheeks, who then served as the Director of U.S. Information Service and as Public Affairs Officer in Taipei after WWII. The organization is now called "The Harvest Publishing Group", funded by the Council of Agriculture under the Executive Yuan, R. O. C (Taiwan).
